The idea for this photobook came from experiencing the second pandemic lockdown, from the center of Lisbon. The access to nature was even more restricted and it stirred up issues connected to our individual freedom. String by string, pulling and twisting, entangled truth with fear. The overwriting of what was felt as natural, left a trace of helplessness. However, the ability to connect and to recreate prevailed.

Light, trees, sky, sea, fragments that reminisced little heavens on earth were uncovered in analogical photographs, taken during the last seven years. The photographs were kept in their original state, strengthening the simplicity and candor of their message.
