This project started with the intention of exploring the qualities of being fragile through movement, in direct connection with nature. There was the consequent reflection upon how beauty is indivisible from its fragility and how duality is present in it. The woods were the chosen place for their symbolic significance. The ideal scenery, at the same time powerful and vulnerable, for an uncertain journey of crossing through. The music was created specifically for this performance, filmed in three different locations in Monsanto Forest, Lisbon.

“Something fragile can be simultaneously beautiful, resilient and strong, like nature and the human body. The qualities of being fragile were explored through movement in direct connection with nature. Three women felt the melody resonance in an action of crossing, expressing freely what was imminent within them and the woods. Is beauty indivisible from its fragility?”
