The invitation to participate in “Biombo“ for the Casa de Gigante Gallery inspired the creation of an experimental installation featuring dual video projections. The initial research focused on the object’s function as a barrier—a space that separates the interior from the exterior and is, at the same time, a point of intersection between planes. The interior of the frame was lined, restoring its quality as a screen, onto which a journey through the Serra da Estrela was projected, accompanied by the songs of the birds that inhabit the area. In contrast, the interior - hidden and protected - reveals itself with simplicity, as an abstract and sensitive impression of the mountain.
